The Marion County High School baseball team honored its past recently as it recognized members of the 1971 MCHS baseball team prior to the Knight’s home matchup with Adair Co.
On hand for the event were former players David Yaste, Joe Logsdon, Tommy Farris, George Kemp, Charles Thomas, Ham Mattingly, Bobby Lee, Ronnie Cecil, and Assistant Coach Mel Shuffett.
Each received a commemorative 50th anniversary MCHS baseball cap and Mattingly threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
